Mass Housing rates are published by the Massachusetts Housing Finance Agency every day, but offered only through approved lenders and mortgage brokers.

The key to getting the lowest Mass Housing rates is to go directly to an approved lender. Since mortgage brokers can only broker loans through Mass Housing approved lenders and not through the agency itself, mortgage brokers are offered less favorable rates since the lender takes its profit right off the top.

Mass Housing rates are available daily for their standard loan program known as the “Mass Housing Mortgage” as well as a newer offering, the ”Mass Housing Mortgage with No Mortgage Insurance”. Both programs offer competitive interest rates for both purchases and rate & term refinances.

Rates shown in the chart above are quoted with No Points and based on a 30 day rate lock with a loan amount of $400,000 and a down payment of 3%. Borrowers are assumed to have a 680+ FICO and sufficient income and assets to qualify.
